LET’S TALK

WATER JET CUTTING TABLE

Our water jet cutting table can cut many different types of materials. These include stainless steel, aluminum, residual metals, ceramics, glass, stone, granite, marble, rubber, sealing materials, wood, hard cellular plastics, insulating materials, reinforced plastics, thermoplastics, duroplastics, paper board, textiles, and leather.

For many years the flexibility and reliability of waterjet cutting systems have been used in high-volume production scenarios and with lower-volume or one-off creative applications. Waterjet is an accurate and powerful process that facilitates cutting the widest range of materials and thicknesses. We offer a rapid transition time from a drawing, finishing a quote to a finished part. High accuracy and edge finish often eliminate the need for secondary cutting in most applications.

Waterjet cutting is a cold process, meaning no heat-affected zones, hardened material, or material stresses exist. A clean, accurate, burr-free finish often eliminates the need for secondary surface finishing. The process also leads to small diameter highly accurate tolerance, ensuring that the unstained finished products can be manufactured in a way that might not be possible with other methods.

Our Machitech Diamond cut plasma table also offers flame cutting, which can cut up to a thickness of 8 inches. Flame cutting has been around for many years and will be around for many more. Ideal for a wide range of industrial applications, with our equipment, flame cutting has been enhanced and refined to make it a more cost-effective method of manufacturing components.

In some instances, Flame cutting can produce parts that other processes simply cannot. With how far you can cut with the thickness of the material, it can make many more components than other cutting processes.

Our Hyd-mech S-23A automatic scissor-style band saw provides exceptional miter-cutting capability for many applications. This band saw is nearly every job’s starting point regarding cutting angle, tubing, round bar, and exotic materials. Our material handling technicians take pride in every cut to ensure that our material prep sizes are to the proper length. This process is critical because of the accuracy and tractability of every process afterward.

PLASMA CUTTING

Johnson Enterprises offers plasma cutting with our Machitech Diamond Cut Plasma table. This table is a compact industrial cutting system designed for accurate and productive high precision cutting applications.

Plasma Cutting has long been a low-cost alternative to oxy-fuel and laser profiling, where the cut angle was not an issue. With the Machitech Diamond cut Plasma table, our plasma process have significantly improved the quality and capabilities of plasma cutting, making it a more versatile and accurate option than ever before.

Our plasma cutting technology suits various materials, particulary mild and stainless steel, producing an excellent edge finish.
